Our Lady of the Rosary

Our Lady of the Rosary, also known as Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, is a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary in relation to the Rosary. The Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary is on October 7, the anniversary of the decisive victory of the combined Christian fleet in 1571 at the Battle of Lepanto, defeating an Ottoman fleet off western Greece. It was formerly sometimes known as the Feast of Our Lady of Victory.

Praying for Mercy in the Divine Will Oct 7, 2016

PRAYING FOR MERCY IN THE DIVINE WILL on October 7, 2016

Original Feast of Our Lady of Victory and Feast Our Lady of the Holy Rosary

First Friday one month before the end of the Jubilee Year of Mercy

St. Annibale Maria Di Francia Beatified by Pope John Paul II in 1990

Luisa entered St. Anthony’s orphanage, founded by St. Annibale in 1928

Luisa departs St. Anthony’s orphanage exactly ten years later

V35 – 2.14.38 – “…We Did even More in the Creation of the Sovereign Queen…as We Pronounced Our Fiat to Create Her and Called Her to Life, We Created Forgiveness, Mercy and Reconciliation between Us and mankind, and We Deposited it in this Celestial Creature, as the Administrator between Our children and Hers. Therefore, the Sovereign Lady Possesses Seas of Forgiveness, Mercy and Piety, as well as Seas of Tears of Our Love, in which She Can Cover All human generations, Regenerated in these Seas Created by Us Within Her—Seas of Forgiveness, of Mercy, and of a Piety So Tender as to Soften the hardesthearts.”

“…be faithful sentinels of the Gospel, who await and prepare for the coming of the New Day that is Christ the Lord.”—POPE JOHN PAUL II, Meeting with Youth, May 5th, 2002;

V36 – 5.27.38 – “If you Live in My Fiat, the night shall be over for you and you shall enjoy the Fullness of the Day; or better still, every act done in It shall be a New Day, bringing New Graces, New Love and Unexpected Joys.”

V24 – 8.23.28  “…The Truths about My Fiat are the New Gospel of the Kingdom of My Divine Will, in which they shall find the norms, the Sun, the teachings on how to ennoble themselves, elevate themselves to their Origin, and take the state given to them by God at the beginning of Creation. They shall find the Gospel that, taking them by the hand, shall lead them into True Happiness, into constant Peace. The only law shall be My Will that, with Its brush of Love, dipped in the Vivid Colors of Its Light, shall give back to man the Likeness of his Creator.”

“…turning our eyes to the future, we confidently await the dawn of a New Day… “Watchmen, what of the night?” (Is. 21:11), and we hear the answer: “Hark, your watchmen lift up their voice, together they sing for joy: for eye to eye they see the return of the Lord to Zion”…. “As the Third Millennium of the Redemption draws near, God is preparing a Great Springtime for Christianity and we can already see its first signs.” May Mary, the Morning Star, help us to say with ever New Ardor our “yes” to the Father’s plan for salvation that all nations and tongues may see His Glory.”—POPE JOHN PAUL II, Message for World Mission Sunday, n.9, October 24th, 1999;

V20 – 12.22.26 – “Now, who shall be able to resist the Light of My Eternal Fiat? All of Its Knowledges shall be more than Rays of Light of My Volition, that shall beat down on the surface of the earth, and penetrating into the hearts, shall bring the Good that the Light of My Will contains and can do. However, these Rays must have their sphere from which to start; they must be centered in one single point, from which to arise in order to form the dawn, the day, the afternoon and the sunset within hearts, to then rise again. The Sphere, the Single Point, is you Luisa; the Rays Centered in it are My Knowledges that shall give Fecundity to the generation of the children of the Kingdom of My Will.”

“The hour has come when the message of Divine Mercy is able to fill hearts with hope and to become the spark of a New civilization: the civilization of Love.” —POPE JOHN PAUL II, Krakow, Poland, August 18th, 2002;

V15 – 4.14.23 – “This is about a New Era – about a Good which must serve all generations; but it is necessary that I first Centralize all this Good in one creature alone, just as I did in Redemption by centralizing everything in My Mama Mary. Take a look at how things proceed in a parallel way: in order to make Redemption come and to dispose souls for It, I made the promise of the future Messiah, so that, by hoping for Him to come, they would not only dispose themselves, but find, they too, their own salvation in the future Redeemer. Now, in order to dispose souls to Live in My Will, to let them partake in the Goods It Contains, and to make man Return to the Path of his Origin, just as he was Created by Me, I Myself wanted to Pray as the First, making My Voice Resound from one end of the earth to another, and even up High in Heaven, saying: ‘Our Father, Who art In Heaven’

“…when the Church recites the ‘Our Father’, it is precisely for you Luisa that She prays, so that I may Centralize in you Luisa all the Good that My Will Contains, the ‘Way’ – the ‘How’ the Divine Will may have Life on earth as It does In Heaven. And even though you Luisa are not known, by echoing My Prayer, ‘Thy Will be done on earth as It is In Heaven’, the Church prays Me, presses Me to Centralize all this Good in a second virgin Luisa, so that, like a second savior, she may save unsafe humanity; and making use of My Inseparable Love and Mercy, I may Answer My Own Prayer, United to that of the whole Church, making man come back to his Origin, to the Purpose for which I Created him – that My Will be done on earth as It is In Heaven.”

V12 – 12.10.18 The Same for the Hidden soul, who is Intimate With Me: as she Prays, though no sound is heard on earth, her Prayers, like Bells, Resound More Vibrantly in Heaven, to the Extent of Calling the Whole of Heaven to Unite Itself with her, and to Let Mercy Descend Upon the earth, which Resounding not to the hearing but to the hearts of creatures, May Dispose them to Convert.”

“May Justice and Peace embrace at the end of the second millennium which prepares us for the coming of Christ in Glory.” —POPE JOHN PAUL II, Homily, Edmonton Airport, September 17th, 1984;

V16 – 9.21.23 “My daughter Luisa, My Will wanted to make Justice of you.  This was necessary in order to test your fidelity, since all My Attributes Concur in All My Works.  And when the generations shall see All that I have Poured into you and, amazed, shall say:  ‘How could she not do all this, after You Gave her So Much?’, My Justice shall show the tests it made you undergo, and shall say to them:  I made her go through the Fire of My Justice and I Found her Faithful, and this is why My Love Continued Its Course.’  Even more, you Must Know that the First to make Justice of you was My Love.  How many tests did it not make you undergo in order to be Sure about your love?  The Second was the Cross, which made Severe Justice of you Luisa, to the point that My Will, Drawn by My Love and by My Cross, wanted to Descend into you Luisa and to make you Live In It.  But My Will also did not want to be outdone by My Love and by the Cross, and to be sure, Jealous, It Withdrew, making Justice of you, to see whether you would continue your Flights In My Will without Me.”  On hearing this, I said:  ‘Ah! how could I continue them without You?  I lacked the Light, and if I would start, I would not finish, because the One who, making everything Present to me, would make me do it for All, making me Bind All the Relations between the Creator and All Creation, was not with me.  My mind would Swim in the empty Space, without Seeing Anyone.  How could I do them?’  And Jesus:  “Your Starting was Doing, and your Sorrow for being unable to finish was Completing.  Therefore, it takes Courage and Fidelity…”

V6 – 6.20.04 – “My daughter, Luisa, human perfidy has reached such a point as to Exhaust My Mercy on Its Part. But My Goodness is So Great as to Constitute Daughters of Mercy, so that on the part of creatures also, this Attribute may not be Exhausted. These are the Victims who are in Full Ownership of the Divine Will, having Destroyed their own human will. In Fact, in these souls, the Container Given by Me in Creating them is in Full Vigor, and since they have received the Particle of My Mercy, being Daughters, they Administer It to others. It is understood, however, that in order to be Able to Administer the Particle of My Mercy to others, they themselves Must Be in Justice.” And I: ‘Lord, who can ever Be in Justice?’ And He: “The one who does not commit grave sins and Abstains from committing the slightest venial sins of his own human will.”

V14 – 7.10.22 – “Now it is necessary that you Luisa rise and carry with you My Life, My Divine Will, so that My Volition of the earth and That of Heaven may Fuse together, and you may live for some time in the Womb of the Divinity, where your volition shall be acting in Mine, in order to expand it as much as a creature can be capable of. Then, you shall Descend again upon the earth, bringing the Power and the Prodigies of My Will, in such a Way that the creatures shall be shaken, they shall open their eyes, and many shall know what it means to Live In My Will – to Live In the Likeness to their Creator. This shall be the beginning of the Coming of My Kingdom upon earth, and of the Final Fulfillment of My Will.”

1st Epistle Of Saint Paul To The Corinthians – Chapter 15:52  In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall rise again incorruptible: and we shall be changed. [53] For this corruptible must put on incorruption; and this mortal must put on immortality. [54] And when this mortal hath put on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written: Death is swallowed up in victory. [55] O death, where is thy victory? O death, where is thy sting? [56] Now the sting of death is sin: and the power of sin is the law. [57] But thanks be to God, who hath given us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. [58] Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast and unmoveable; always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

V21 – 3.16.27 “…The Secret Between Me and you, Luisa, has Allowed Me to Pour Out My Sorrow, So Long, and of So Many Centuries, in which, while My Divine Will Was in the midst of creatures, and Was Life of Each One of their acts, they did not Recognize It, keeping It in a State of Continuous Agony…My daughter, a Sorrow of Mine, Poured Out in the Secrecy of the heart of the one who Loves Me, has the Virtue of Changing Justice into Mercy; and My Bitternesses Change into Sweetnesses. Then, after I Trusted you, Luisa, Arranging Everything Together with you, I Called My Ministers, Priests, Giving them the Order to Make Known to the people the Beautiful News About My Supreme Fiat — the Many Knowledges about It: How I Call Everyone, that they May Come into My Kingdom, get out of the prison—of the exile of their human will, Take Possession of the lost Goods, So as to Live no longer unhappy and as slaves of the human will, but Happy and Free in My Most Holy Divine Will.”

Hours of the Passion – The 19th Hour: 11 AM to 12 PM – Jesus is Crucified – 1st Part: The Crucifixion “My Love and my All, for this sharp pain You suffer, I pray You to close hell to all souls, and to hold back the Lightnings of Divine Justice Irritated, alas, by our own sins!  O Jesus, let Divine Justice be Appeased, so that the Divine Chastisements may not Pour Down upon the earth, and Treasures of Divine Mercy may be Opened for the Benefit of All.  My Jesus, I place the world and All generations into Your Arms, and I pray You, O my Sweet Love, with the Voices of Your Own Blood, to deny no one Your Forgiveness, and by the Merits of Your Most Precious Blood, to Concede to All the Salvation of their souls!  Do not exclude Anyone, O Jesus!”

The Command Prayer

Abba Father, In the Name of Jesus, in the Unity and Power of the Holy Spirit, under the Mantle of Mary, with all the Angels and Saints, through the Intercession of The Servant of God Luisa Piccarreta.

please take my humble prayer and make it Your Command,

That the Oceans of Forgiveness, Mercy and Piety, as well as the Oceans of Tears of Your Divine Love,

as Possessed by the Sovereign Lady, Cover All human generations so to Soften the hardest hearts.

please take my humble prayer and make it Your Command,

That You Make Known to Your people the Beautiful News about Your Supreme Fiat

and the Many Beautiful Knowledges about It and Call Everyone,

that they May Come into Your Kingdom, to get out of the prison—of the exile of their human will,

Take Possession of the lost Goods, So as to Live no longer unhappy and as slaves of the human will,

but Happy and Free in Your Most Holy Divine Will.

please take my humble prayer and make it Your Command,

You have Centralized in Luisa all the Good that Your Holy Divine Will Contains,

Please Make Use of Your Inseparable Love and Mercy,

Answering Your Own Command, United to that of the whole Church,

Returning mankind back to his Origin, the Purpose for which You Created him,

that Your Holy Divine Will be done on earth as It is In Heaven.

May this be the beginning of the Coming of Your Kingdom upon earth,

and of the Final Fulfillment of Your Will.

May all be accomplished and completed in Your Most Holy Divine Will.

Fiat!   Amen!

God, the Holy Spirit, have mercy on us.

Holy Trinity, One God, have mercy on us.

More than all my relatives and friends, have mercy on us.

More than all men and angels, have mercy on us.

Above all created things in heaven and on earth, have mercy on us.

Only for Yourself, have mercy on us.

Because You are the sovereign Good, have mercy on us.

Because You are infinitely worthy of being loved, have mercy on us.

Because You are infinitely perfect, have mercy on us.

Even had You not promised me heaven, have mercy on us.

Even had You not menaced me with hell, have mercy on us.

Even should You try me by want and misfortune, have mercy on us.

In wealth and in poverty, have mercy on us.

In health and in sickness, have mercy on us.

In life and in death, have mercy on us.

In time and in eternity, have mercy on us.

In union with that love
wherewith all the saints
and all the angels love You in heaven, have mercy on us.

In union with that love
wherewith the Blessed Virgin Mary loves You, have mercy on us.

In union with that infinite love
where with You love Yourself eternally, have mercy on us.

Let us pray:

My God,
Who possesses in incomprehensible abundance all that is perfect and worthy of love,
annihilate in me all guilty sensual,
and undue love for creatures.
Kindle in my heart
the pure fire of Your love,
so that I may love nothing
but You or in You until,
being entirely consumed
by holy love of You,
I may go to love You eternally
with the elect in heaven,
the country of pure love.

Amen.

St. Francis of Assisi

Saint Francis of Assisi

Saint of the Day for October 4

(September 26, 1182 – October 3, 1226)

 Saint Francis of Assisi’s Story

Francis of Assisi was a poor little man who astounded and inspired the Church by taking the gospel literally—not in a narrow fundamentalist sense, but by actually following all that Jesus said and did, joyfully, without limit, and without a sense of self-importance.

Serious illness brought the young Francis to see the emptiness of his frolicking life as leader of Assisi’s youth. Prayer—lengthy and difficult—led him to a self-emptying like that of Christ, climaxed by embracing a leper he met on the road. It symbolized his complete obedience to what he had heard in prayer: “Francis! Everything you have loved and desired in the flesh it is your duty to despise and hate, if you wish to know my will. And when you have begun this, all that now seems sweet and lovely to you will become intolerable and bitter, but all that you used to avoid will turn itself to great sweetness and exceeding joy.”

From the cross in the neglected field-chapel of San Damiano, Christ told him, “Francis, go out and build up my house, for it is nearly falling down.” Francis became the totally poor and humble workman.

He must have suspected a deeper meaning to “build up my house.” But he would have been content to be for the rest of his life the poor “nothing” man actually putting brick on brick in abandoned chapels. He gave up all his possessions, piling even his clothes before his earthly father (who was demanding restitution for Francis’ “gifts” to the poor) so that he would be totally free to say, “Our Father in heaven.” He was, for a time, considered to be areligious fanatic, begging from door to door when he could not get money for his work, evoking sadness or disgust to the hearts of his former friends, ridicule from the unthinking.

But genuineness will tell. A few people began to realize that this man was actually trying to be Christian. He really believed what Jesus said: “Announce the kingdom! Possess no gold or silver or copper in your purses, no traveling bag, no sandals, no staff” (Luke 9:1-3).

Francis’ first rule for his followers was a collection of texts from the Gospels. He had no intention of founding an order, but once it began he protected it and accepted all the legal structures needed to support it. His devotion and loyalty to the Church were absolute and highly exemplary at a time when various movements of reform tended to break the Church’s unity.

He was torn between a life devoted entirely to prayer and a life of active preaching of the Good News. He decided in favor of the latter, but always returned to solitude when he could. He wanted to be a missionary in Syria or in Africa, but was prevented by shipwreck and illness in both cases. He did try to convert the sultan of Egypt during the Fifth Crusade.

During the last years of his relatively short life (he died at 44), he was half blind and seriously ill. Two years before his death, he received the stigmata, the real and painful wounds of Christ in his hands, feet and side.

On his deathbed, he said over and over again the last addition to his Canticle of the Sun, “Be praised, O Lord, for our Sister Death.” He sang Psalm 141, and at the end asked his superior to have his clothes removed when the last hour came and for permission to expire lying naked on the earth, in imitation of his Lord.

Reflection

Francis of Assisi was poor only that he might be Christ-like. He recognized creation as another manifestation of the beauty of God. In 1979, he was named patron of ecology. He did great penance (apologizing to “Brother Body” later in life) that he might be totally disciplined for the will of God. His poverty had a sister, humility, by which he meant total dependence on the good God. But all this was, as it were, preliminary to the heart of his spirituality: living the gospel life, summed up in the charity of Jesus and perfectly expressed in the Eucharist.

Saint Francis of Assisi is the Patron Saint of:

Animals
Archaeologists
Ecology
Italy
Merchants
Messengers
Metal Workers

Guardian Angels

OCTOBER 2
Guardian Angels

It is the teaching of the Church, and in accordance with what we read in the Old and New Testaments, that the angels, who are divine messengers, exercise a particular care and protection over individuals on earth, and help them in attaining salvation. In Exodus (20:20), the Lord God told Moses, “I am sending an angel before you, to guard you on the way and bring you to the place I have prepared,” and after the angel had liberated St. Peter from prison, the latter remarked, “Now I know for certain that the Lord has sent his angel to rescue me from Herod’s clutches” (Acts 12:11). The common teaching of theologians is that every human being, not merely the baptized, has a special guardian angel from birth, and this they derive from Christ’s words: “Do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven always see the face of my Father, who is in Heaven” (Matt. 18:10.) Referring to the same text, St. Basil (see January 2) writes: “Every one of the faithful has an angel standing at his side as educator, and guide, directing his life” (Against Eunomius III, 1). Devotion to the angels began with St. Benedict (see July 11) and then steadily increased from the time of St. Gregory the Great (see September 3) to St. Bernard of Clairvaux (see August 20), who was perhaps the most eloquent exponent of devotion to the Guardian Angels. The final prayer in today’s Mass speaks of the angels keeping us free from danger in this life and bringing us to the joy of eternal life. A feast in honor of the Guardian Angels was celebrated in Valencia, Spain, as early as 1411; it then spread through Spain and into France. Pope Paul V introduced it into the Roman Calendar in 1608, and Pope Clement X later (1670) set its celebration for October 2.

For some 300 years now, the feast of the Holy Guardian Angels has been celebrated in the Catholic Church on October 2. Few things, however, have become as alien to the contemporary Christian as the concept of guardian angels. The Old Testament says of the angel that guards the people of Israel: “Heed him and hearken to his voice”—that means that I should become open to this image of a God who is everywhere around me and that I should not stubbornly oppose to him my own fleeting wishes and whims. It is based on the fact that we ourselves have become manipulatable and believe in no other design for our life than that which we have made for ourselves. In consequence, we end by becoming the movable scenery of a technical world that we try to maneuver this way and that. We no longer speak, then, of guardian angels, except perhaps in a few idiomatic expressions that even we ourselves do not take too literally. Granted, we speak all the more frequently about security and about how we can protect ourselves against the negative aspects of modern life. The flight of humanity from humanity as from its own work is on the increase, and we come to recognize the inadequacy of our protective devices—however sophisticated they may be—only when new refinements reveal that they have already been superseded. It would, of course, be foolish and unrealistic on our part to place our trust in guardian angels rather than in technology; the divine protection is not so easily commandeered and is not intended to be thrown into bold relief. Speaking of angels means being convinced that the world is everywhere filled with the divine presence of God and that his presence is bestowed on each and every one of us as a power that summons and protects us.

Ratzinger, J. (1992).

Thérèse of Lisieux: Our Lord’s Living Garden

therese-of-lisieux

Thérèse of Lisieux: Our Lord’s Living Garden

I understood that every flower created by Him is beautiful, that the brilliance of the rose and the whiteness of the lily do not lessen the perfume of the violet or the sweet simplicity of the daisy. I understood that if all the lowly flowers wished to be roses, nature would lose its springtide beauty, and the fields would no longer be enamelled with lovely hues. And so it is in the world of souls, Our Lord’s living garden. He has been pleased to create great Saints who may be compared to the lily and the rose, but He has also created lesser ones, who must be content to be daisies or simple violets flowering at His Feet, and whose mission it is to gladden His Divine Eyes when He deigns to look down on them. And the more gladly they do His Will the greater is their perfection.

I understood this also, that God’s Love is made manifest as well in a simple soul which does not resist His grace as in one more highly endowed. In fact, the characteristic of love being self-abasement, if all souls resembled the holy Doctors who have illuminated the Church, it seems that God in coming to them would not stoop low enough. But He has created the little child, who knows nothing and can but utter feeble cries, and the poor savage who has only the natural law to guide him, and it is to their hearts that He deigns to stoop. These are the field flowers whose simplicity charms Him; and by His condescension to them Our Saviour shows His infinite greatness. As the sun shines both on the cedar and on the floweret, so the Divine Sun illumines every soul, great and small, and all correspond to His care—just as in nature the seasons are so disposed that on the appointed day the humblest daisy shall unfold its petals.

Our Lady of the Knots Novena starts 9/28/16

baa4ff8ae5e1331ef8af939346696b08

Novena to Our Lady Undoer of Knots

Unfailing Novena To The Virgin Mary Untier of Knots

How this devotion started?

To show us the mission granted to the Virgin Mary by Her Son, an artist Johann Melchior Georg Schmittdner painted Mary Undoer of Knots with great grace. Since 1700, His painting has been venerated in the Church of St. Peter in Perlack, Augsburg, Germany. It was originally inspired by a meditation of Saint Irenaeus (Bishop of Lyon and martyred in 202) based on the parallel made by Saint Paul between Adam and Christ. Saint Irenaeus, in turn, made a comparison between Eve and Mary, saying:“Eve, by her disobedience, tied the knot of disgrace for the human race; whereas Mary, by her obedience, undid it”.

But what are these knots?
There are the problems and struggles we face for which we do not see any solution … knots of discord in your family, lack of understanding between parents and children, disrespect, violence, the knots of deep hurts between husband and wife, the absence of peace and joy at home. There are also the knots of anguish and despair of separated couples, the dissolution of the family, the knots of a drug addict son or daughter, sick or separated from home or God, knots of alcoholism, the practice of abortion, depression, unemployment, fear, solitude…Ah, the knots of our life! How they suffocate the soul, beat us down and betray the heart’s joy and separate us from God.

Day after day, more and more Christians kneel to pray to Her as soon as they meet the Mother of the Fair Love.  Many families have become reconciled! Many diseases have been healed! Many spouses have returned to the Church! Many jobs have been given! Many conversions have taken place! Many Catholics have been on their knees praying and giving thanks for graces received from our sweet Mother. For that reason, Mary Who undoes the knots, Who was chosen by God to crush the evil with Her feet, comes to us to reveal Herself. She comes to provide jobs, good health, to reconcile families, because She wants to undo the knots of our sins which dominate our lives, so that – as sons of the King – we can receive the promises reserved for us from eternity. She comes with promises of victory, peace, blessings and reconciliation.

Then, free from our knots – filled with happiness, we can be a testimony of the Divine Power in this world, like pieces of God’s heart or small bottles of perfume exhaling mercy and love to our neighbor. Like ambassador of Jesus Christ and the Virgin of the fair love, we can rescue those who cry without any consolation, those who are lonely, tied with knots, who have no God, no Father nor Mother.

Mother of the Rising Sun, Immaculate, our Advocate, Helper in moments of affliction, Mother of God and made by Him our Mother, this is how Mary, Undoer of Knots is presented. Above all, She comes as the Queen of Mercy, the one who knows all about us, who has compassion for us and hurries to rescue us, praying for each one of us to Her beloved Jesus.

The Glorification of the Sacred Heart of Jesus

The Sacred Heart of Jesus

th-5

GLORIFICATION OF THE SACRED HEART 35

Our Lord deigned to make them known to His humble
Spouse in giving her a foretaste of them even here below.

On Easter Sunday evening Jesus appeared to Mechtilde
and said to her : " This evening I am come to serve you all.
At your meal I would serve five different dishes.

" The first is the joy My divinity received on this day
from My humanity and My humanity from my divinity.

" The second, the joy I felt when in the place of all
the bitterness that love poured on Me during my Passion,
it now spread an immeasurable happiness and the fulness
of its joy through all my members.

" The third, the joy I felt in offering to My Father
the most precious gift, in a transport of delight. I mean
My soul and all the souls I had just redeemed.

" The fourth, the joy I experienced when My Father
gave Me the power to honour, enrich and reward the
friends whom I had redeemed with so much pain and at
so great a cost.

" The fifth, the joy I felt in seeing My Father associate
with Me, in the everlasting glory of My throne, those
whom I had redeemed, making them coheirs with Me
and guests at My table. Other kings, after having dined
with their friends, leave them once the repast is over,
but My friends will remain with Me eternally.

" To everyone who shall remind Me of these joys,
for the first, provided he desires it before death, I will
give him a foretaste of My divinity. For the second, I
will give him the gift of knowledge. For the third, I will
offer his soul to My Father at the hour of his death. For
the fourth, I will share with him My labours and the
fruit of,all My sufferings, and for the fifth, I will associate
him in the happiness of the Saints."

It will be instructive to compare this revelation made
to St. Mechtilde in the thirteenth century with a page
written in the nineteenth by a learned and pious bishop
on the mysteries of the Heart of Jesus :
